Crono's Frenzy tech has a 1/16 chance of attacking two, three, or four times in a row regardless of action or gambit execution. Frenzy tech is Crono's strongest, non-magical attack. The project has gone silent since September 15th, 2021.

Returning his attention back to the Mammon Machine, Crono uses Dreamstone on the device, pointing out that the stone is made from the same red rock as Schala's Amulet.Īs the machine activates, Crono reacts to the device in a bizarre way, unable to fight against it and is temporarily left out of the party as they take down the device. Steiner wonders how Crono knows much of history's relics and Crono pauses and replies its just part of his memory. Crono exclaims to the party of the machine before them, knowing the name of it without struggle. 
After defeating the Steel Shade, the apparition fades and the party are absorbed in a gate leading them to the Temporal Research Lab.Īt the Inner Seal's Core (era 12000 B.C.), the party encounters a deactivated Mammon Machine. The party advances forward only to be greeted by the Steel Shade. Proceeding further in the Grotto, Crono gets a heavy feeling of longing and hears a voice calling to him, as Terra did before. Terra questions Dalton, only for Johnny to believe the puzzle is just beginning to piece itself together. Before fading away, he makes it clear, the matter still isn't over. Dalton continues to articulate, blaming Crono for the loss of his labor, wealth and royal underlings. Terra, confused on this new foe, Crono explains that this Dalton that stands before them is nothing more than a mere apparition, an imprint of time's fabric and explains this ' little show is beginning to reveal itself.' Ignoring as much as possible and continuing his articulation, exclaims to Crono, he cannot fool to him. Here, they encounter the Once-King Dalton. Within the Mountain Volcano, the party advances through the cavernous pass and are lead to another grotto resembling the first grotto from before. Fearing she'd likely not make it far, Crono reassures her that, while they don't know what will occur there, she'd be fine as long as she has hope. ––-Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.––- Rendezvousīefore heading to the Dimensional Vortex, at the group's rendezvous point, Terra makes a statement, fearing the perils the party could face if they are become separated.
